What is it called when a number is under a number like an exponent but its on the the lower half and how do I solve it on a calculator???

huh?

$$\frac{2}{5^2} = 2/(5^2)$$

$${\frac{{\mathtt{2}}}{\left({{\mathtt{5}}}^{{\mathtt{2}}}\right)}} = {\frac{{\mathtt{2}}}{{\mathtt{25}}}} = {\mathtt{0.08}}$$

OR

$$5^{(\frac{1}{3})}$$    = 5^(1/3)

$${{\mathtt{5}}}^{\left({\frac{{\mathtt{1}}}{{\mathtt{3}}}}\right)} = {\mathtt{1.709\: \!975\: \!946\: \!676\: \!696\: \!8}}$$

Does that help ?????
