Addition is adding a number to another number, say, we have 2 apples and then someone gave us 1 more apple, how many apples I have?Well the answer would be 3.
In mathematics we write it as follows : 2 + 1 = 3 (+ is addition symbol)

Subtraction is the reverse of addition, we had for example, 6 apples, someone wanted 2 of them so we gave them, how many we have left? It would be 4
again in mathematics we write it: 6-2=4 (- is the subtraction symbol)

Multiplication is repeating a number by a specific amount (Ex.another number says it)
like: 2 * 3 (Notice that * is a multiplication symbol) 2*3 (Basically says that 2 is repeated 3 times, so it is like addition 2+2+2=6) So 2*3=6
