=-1*-1*-1*-1*-1*-1*-1\\
=(-1*-1)*(-1*-1)*(-1*-1)*-1\\
=1*1*1*-1\\
=-1$$

 

$$\\(-1)^{odd\; number}=-1\\
(-1)^{even\; number}=+1\\$$

If you raise negative one to the seventh power you get negavtive one.
