what is Pythagorean triple

This refers to integer values of the sides in a right triangle where the sum of the squares of the lengths of the two smaller sides is equal to the square of the largest side.

Some well known ones are....

3, 4 ,5

5, 12, 13 , etc.

Also, oddly enough, any multiples of a Pythagorean Triple also generates more Triples.

So, using 3,4,5.....

6,8,10  ......9, 12, 15.....12, 16, 20  are all Triples since they are all multiples of 3,4,5 !!!!
