First term  =  -5*3^(1-1) = -5*3^0   = -5*(1)  = -5

Fourth term =  -5*3^(4-1)  = -5*3^(3)  = -5*27  = -135

I'll leave it to you to find the eighth term.......it shouldn't be difficult.....!!!
