What is the answer to the square root of 3x plus 2 equals to 4?

If we have

√(3x + 2 ) = 4   square both sides

3x + 2   = 16     subtract 2 from both sides

3x = 14             divide by 3 on both sides

x = 14/3

If we have

√(3x)  + 2 = 4      subtract 2 from both sides

√(3x)  = 2             square both sides

3x = 4                  divide by 3 on both sides

x = 4/3

This mathematical expression (or equation, or whatever it is!) can not be solved on the best calculator in the world... Only human brains can solve it... Like CPhill's brain...
