To have more girls than boys when there are four children, there must be either 3 girls and 1 boy or 4 girls.

There are 4 ways to have 3 girls and 1 boy: GGGB or GGBG or GBGG or GGGB.

There is only one way to have all 4 girls: GGGG

Each possibility is (1/2)(1/2)(1/2)(1/2) = 1/16.

Five ways will be 5 x 1/16  =  5/16, which is a probability of 0.3125 and a percentage of 31.25%.
