I guess I had best arbitrate.

Your working looks fine to me Mat.

You have not presented it in the three forms as requested but this is no big deal.

Dragonlance needs to find some other food for his hogs.  :/

$$\\y-3=\frac{2}{5}*(x--1)\\
y-3=\frac{2}{5}*(x+1) \qquad $This is point slope form$\\\\
y=\frac{2x}{5}+\frac{2}{5}+3\\
y=\frac{2x}{5}+3\frac{2}{5}\qquad $This is gradient and y intercept form.$\\\\\\
5(y-3)=5(\frac{2}{5}*(x+1))\\
5y-15=2*(x+1)\\
5y-15=2x+2\\
0=2x-5y+2+15\\
2x-5y+17=0 \qquad $This is general form $$$

what is the equation of this line in slope intercept,standard,and point slope form.slope equals 2/5; point : (-1,3).?

let x1=-1,   x2=?,    y1=3,   y2=?

Point Slope Form:

y-3=2/5(x+1)

y-3=2/5x+2/5

2/5x-y+2/5+3=0

2/5x-y+3.4=0

answer must be checked

Matsunnymat you got all three of the slope and line equation problems wrong.

My mule would get at least one of these right.

This one is supposed to be point slope not point slop. I feed it to the hogs. Hogs like slop. Your other answers on here are slop too so hogs all get a big snack to night. hahahaha

OK his answer was not poisonous slop. I not feed it to the hogs if it was. It was just not fit for human consumption but the hogs like it fine. hahahaha
