what is the limit as x approaches infinity from the right hand side for the equation f(x)=x

This function approaches positive infinity as x approaches infinity from the left

And it approaches negative infinity as x approaches negative infinity from the right

Chris is right but to me the question uses confusing words unnecessarily.

There is only one way that x can approach infinity.  

I am probably wrong but I think the wording is silly.
