Because this is a right triangle, you can use sin, cos, or tan.

If you use sin:

     sin  =  opp / hyp

The side opposite angle(P) = 15; the hypotenuse = 17.

--->     sin(P)  =  15 / 17

--->     sin(P)  =  0.8823529412

--->           P   =  sin-1( 0.8823529412)

--->           P   =   61.93o
