If 6 is added to twice a number and this sum in multiplied by 4, the resullt is the same as if the number is multiplied by 4 and 8 is added to the product.
I think your answer would be -1.4
4•(2x+6)=6x+10
16x+24=6x+10
10x+24=10
10x=-14
answer: -1.4
