what is the pythagoras' if the value is 12cm 18cm and 8cm + ?cm
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
a = 12cm, b = 18cm and c = (8cm + Xcm)
a2 + b2 = c2
122 + 182 = c2
144 + 324 = 468
X = sqrt(468) - 8
X = 13.63cm
Thanks Civonamzuk,
It should be noted that you have assumed that the unknown side is the hypotenuse.
This may not be the case :)
I was aware of the fact that the unknown side could've been either the adjacent side, or the hypotenuse.
