I think this solution may be too complicated for you to understand, but I wanted to give an as accurate description of the solution. You may want to skim over my solution.

-4 * (6/100)

a*(b/c) = (a*b)/c

(-4*6)/100

(-24)/100

(-24)/(100)

Factorization of the top and bottom part.

(-1*2*2*2*3)/(2*2*5*5)

In fractions, there is a rule where ab/ac= b/c, we try to write the expression in this form

We can see that the factor (2*2) is in both the upper and lower part of the expression, we set a= (2*2)

ab/ac= ((2*2)*(-1*2*3))/((2*2)*(5*5))

Here, we can see that, b= (-1*2*3) and c = (5*5)

Then we get

ab/ac= b/c= (-1*2*3)/(5*5)

(-6)/(25)

-6/25

Which is the simplest form of the above expression.
