What is the slope of (-4,7) and (-6,-3)

Just subtract the y's in some order.

The, subtract the x's in the same order.

Put the first result over the second in a fraction......that's the slope !!!

So we have  .......7 - (-3)  = 10

And, using the same order of subtraction, -4 - (-6) = 2

So.......  10 / 2 = 5   and that's the slope !!!
