What is the slope of the line 2y = 6x - 4
I believe the y intercept should be -2...... i.e., (0,-2)
If you solve the formula for y, getting y = mx + b, m will be the slope.
To solve 2y = 6x - 4 for y, divide both sides by 2:
y = 3x - 4/3
The slope = 3; the y-intercept is -4/3
Thanks CPhill, it definitely should be.
No prob.......it's easy to make small errors on here!!!!
What would the gradient be?
