What is the slope of the line on the graph?

f(x) =y=1/2 x -2    So the slope = 1/2

Please post questions DIRECTLY on the forum, rather than giving URLs !

We have these points on the graph  ( 0, -2)  and  ( 4, 0)

The slope is   [ 0 - -2 ] / [ 4 - 0 ]  =   2 / 4   =   1 / 2
