2x^2- 6x+2=0 Divide all terms by 2:

x^2 - 3x + 1 = 0  Use the quadratic equation:

x1 = (3 + sqrt(3^2 - 4))/2 → 3/2 + sqrt(5)/2

x2 = (3 - sqrt(3^2 - 4))/2 → 3/2 - sqrt(5)/2

Hello dayor!

what is the solution for 2x^2- 6x+2=0

\(2x^2-6x+2=0\)

\(a=2; \ b=-6; \ c = 2\)

\(x = {-b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac} \over 2a}\)

\(\)\(x = {6 \pm \sqrt{36-4 \times 2 \times 2} \over 2 \times 2}\)

\(x= \frac{6 \pm \sqrt{20} }{4} \)

\(x= \frac {6 \pm 4.472135955}{4}\)

\(x_{1}=2.61803398875\)

\(x_{2}=0.38196601125\)

Greeting asinus :- ) laugh !
