what is the solution to: 0 = - 9.81/2 t^2 + 2

 0 = - 9.81/2 t^2 + 2     subtract 2 from each side

-2 = - 9.81/2 t^2           multiply both sides by 2

-4 = -9.81t^2                divide both sides by -9.81

0.4077471967380224 = t^2    since this looks like a Physics formula where you want a positive result for t, take the positve root of each side 

0.638550856814100908  = t
