To find the answer to square roots, you have to find a number that can be multiplied again to find the answer.

$$\sqrt16=4\\\\\sqrt9=3\\\\\sqrt100=10$$ $$4*4=16\\\\3*3=9\\\\10*10=100$$
There are many more examples, but these are popular.
