What is the surface area of a regular hexagonal prism with a height of 15 in and a base length of 8 in

The surface area of the bases =

2 * 6 * (1/2) * 64 sin 60  =  6 * 64 sin 60  = 332.55 sq in

Area of sides = 6 * 8 * 15 = 720 sq in

So  ....332.55 + 720 = 1052.55 sq in
