This is the basic graph of the tangent shifted to the right by pi/3 units.

It will have  an x intercept at pi/3 ±  n(pi) units..... where n is an integer

The x-intercept occurs when x-0.

When x=0, the expression equals tan(0- pi/3), which means that the graph crosses the x-axis @:

tan(-pi/3)

Be careful, this may be at more than one graph location.

The x-intercept occurs when y=o, not x.
