\(\frac{(x-3)}{4}=\frac{(x-2)}{3}\)

 

Cross-multiply:

\(3(x-3) = 4(x-2)\)

 

Distribute:

3x - 9 = 4x - 8

 

Add 8 to both sides:

3x - 1 = 4x

 

Subtract 3x from both sides:

-1 = x
