What is x in 1/5x+2 = 3 - 2/7x

I assume we might have this:

(1/5)x+2 = 3 - (2/7)x     Add (2/7)x to both sides and subtract 2 from both sides

(1/5)x + (2/7)x = 1        Multiply both sides by 35 to clear the fractions

7x + 10x = 35                Combine like terms

17x = 35                        Divide both sides by 17

x = 35/17
