Hello,

the difference beetween ( $2^2$ ) and ( $2^2$ ) is 0 because ( $2^2-2^2$ ) is 0.

(If you subtract and the minuend and subtrahend are the same,

the result is ALWAYS 0.)

Since (2)²=4 and (2²)=4, subtracting them gives 0. Meaning no difference.
