What's the difference between a commutative property and an associative property? ​

 Commutative property changes the order. Example: 1+2+3=6 or 2+3+1=6 Associative property keeps the same order but changes parentheses. 1 x (2 x 3) = 6 or (1 x 2) x 3 = 6
