E=mc^2      shows the amount of enrgy 'E'   contained in a mass 'm' is equal to 'm' x c^2   where 'c' is the speed of light

  c= 3x 10^8  m/s      c^2 = a REALLY big number, so you can see that only a small 'm' mass can produce a HUGE amount of energy (like in a nuclear bomb) !
