whats found in the nucleus?

In the nucleus of an atom, there are protons and neutrons. The proton, in turn, consists of 3 quarks. Two "up" quarks and one "down" quark. A neutron also consists of 3 quarks. 2 "down" quarks and 1 "up" quark.
