I am thinking of a number. I multiply it by 15 and subtract 115. I get the same awnser if i multiply by 6 and subrtact 7. Whats my number?

We have
15N - 115 = 6N - 7 add 115 to each side, subtract 6N from both sides
9N = 108 divide both sides by 9
N = 12

x=12
x15 - 115=6x - 7
15x - 6x=-7+115
9x=108 divide both sides by 9
OK......that settles it......the answer is definitely................... → 12
