The measures of the angles of a quadrilateral are consecutive odd integers. Find the measure of each angle.

And odd integer can be written as 2n - 1

 

So....the first odd integer is 2n -1

The second  2n -1 + 2  =  2n + 1

The third  2n + 1 + 2  = 2n + 3

And the fourth  2n + 3 + 2  = 2n + 5

 

And the sum of the interior angles of a quadrilateral = 360 degrees

 

So

 

(2n - 1) + (2n + 1) + (2n + 3) + (2n + 5)  = 360

8n+8=360

n=44

43,45,47,49

Remember that we need to put 44 into the expression for each angle...so.we get

 

2(44) - 1  = 87°

2(44) + 1  = 89°

2(44) + 3  = 91°

2(44) + 5 = 93°
