When 7 is to the 5th then multiplied by a number does it matter which comes first

Which means you do $$7^5$$ first (because the 5 is an exponent) and then you multiply by the number afterwards.

You would have to evaluate 7^5 before you would multiply by that number. Usually, I think that the number that will be multiplied is in parenthesis before. (n)7^5

Order of operations:

1.) parenthesis

2.)exponents

3.)multiplication

4.)division

5.)addition

6.)subtraction
