When a photograph is enlarged or shrunken, its width and length stay proportional to the original width and length. Rojas is enlarging a picture whose original width was 3 inches and whose original length was 5 inches. If its new length is to be 8 inches, what is the exact value of it's new width in inches?

The new width will be (8/5) * 3  =  24/5 =  4 + 4/5 inches
