When added like terms together and there is an equation on either side of the equal sign, do you still keep the two equations separate or can you mix them?
So you mean equations like 2x=4+5x? My 8th grade teacher tells us to simplify and combine like terms like x.
I forgot which order its in but its; Simplify, Combine like terms and distribute, and get varibles to one side. Hope this helps.
