163,696^2=26,796,380,416

Because your calculator has a 10-digit display, any answer exceeding 10 digits will be displayed in scientific notation or power of 10. You can get around that problem, such as in this one, by squaring the last 3 digits of your number, that is:696^2=484,416. Because you squared 3-digit number, the last 3 digits of the new answer are ALWAYS correct. So, in this case 416 is correct. So, you can replace .......42e10, in your calculator with 416. if were to square the last 4 digits, you would get the last 4 digits of answer correct. So, 3696^2=13,660,416. As you can see, the last 4 digits, 0416 are correct. This is always true. 63,696^2=4,057,180,416. The last 5 digits 80,416 are correct, and so on.
