Solve for ti where v= df - di

                                   t- ti

When I did this I ended with -ti = Vtf

                                                          d- di

Is it okay if ti is negative?

v= [df - di ] /  [ tf - ti ]   multiply both sides by  [tf - ti]

v[tf - ti]  = [df - di]    simplify the left side

vtf - vti = [ df - di]      add vti to both sides, subtract [df - di] from both sides

vtf - [df - di ]   = vti

vtf - df + di  = vti     divide both sides by v

[ vtf - dfi + di] / v  = ti

cool cool cool
