Set these equations equal to each other:

Since y = y   --->   (2/3)x + 3  =  (1/3)x + 6

Multiply both sides by 3:  2x + 9  =  x + 18         (to get rid of fractions)

--->                                   x + 9  =  18

--->                                         x  =  9

When x = 9:  y = (1/3)x + 6  =  (1/3)(9) + 6  =  3 + 6  =  9

They intersect in the point  (9, 9)
