\(y=\frac{3}{x+2}-4\)

 

there is an asymptote at     x + 2  =  0     which is     x  =  -2

 

\(x=\frac{3}{y+4}-2\)

 

there is an asymptote at     y + 4  =  0     which is     y  =  -4
