This is the ceiling function shifted down 3 units

 

To find out which graph is correct....

 

Let  x  =2

ceiling (2)  - 3=   2  - 3  =  -1

 

Let x = 2.5

ceiling (2.5) - 3  = 3 - 3  = 0

 

Let x  = 3

ceiling (3) - 3   =  3 - 3  = 0

 

The botom right graph is the correct one....

 Let's evaluate the extremes of the interval
 x = -3
 g (-3) = floor (-3) -2 = -5
 x = 3
 g (3) = floor (3) -2 = 1
