Which graph represents the function f(x)=x^2−49/x+7 ?

f(x)  =  [ x^2 - 49 ] / [ x + 7]  =    [ (x+ 7) (x - 7) ]   /  ( x + 7)      =  x - 7

 

Thus.....this is the graph  of  the  line   y = x - 7

 

And it will have a "hole"  at  x = - 7    because this value makes the denominator of the original function undefined 

 

And when x = -7,  then y = - 7 - 7 =  -14

 

So....the "hole" occurs at (-7, -14)

 

So....the second graph is correct
