Which of the following is the equation of a circle that has a radius of 2.5 and its center at (4, -3)?

Question  options:

A) (x - 4)^2 +(y + 3)^2 = 2.5

B) (x + 4)^2 + (y - 3)^2 =2.5

C) (x - 4)^2 + (y - 3)^2 = 6.25

Since the equation for a circle is:  (x - h)2 + (y - k)2  =  r2,

and h = 4

and k = -3

and r = 2.5

the answer is:  (x - 4)2 + (y - -3)2  =  2.52     --->     (x - 4)2 + (y + 3)2  =  6.25
