When one cube has the surface area 384 and the other has the volume of 343 ,which has a greater side length?
SA = a^2 x 6
V = a^3
384 = a^2 x 6 divide both sides by 6
a^2 = 384 /6
a^2 = 64 take the sqrt of both sides
a= 8 units.
343 =a^3 take the cube root of both sides
a =7 units
As you can see, the one with a SA of 384 has a longer side.
