it wasn't invented; it was always there. the first ever sum you did, 1+1, shouldn't be written down as 1+1=, it should be written down as:\(1+1=x\)

Algebra means a part of maths which involves variables.

Algebra was first invented by Babylonians. You should blame them. Not us. LOL.
