Why does math have to be hard? I wish it was slightly simpler and then I would LOVE math! I do like math though.

I would say it is hard because you are being pushed at a level that is slightly too difficult for you.  Some people need this of course or they don't progress but for many people it tends to turn them off, which is a pity.

Make sure you understand the basics.  If you don't then new learning is just memorizing, not really understanding.  And eventually this leads to a brick wall.

Having said that, some new concepts you do have to just accept at first - the understanding kicks in a little later.

just hang in there.  And never be afraid to ask questions or to say 'I don't understand'

Can I ask how old you are or what level you are studying at?
