Why is "acos (6.25)" not working?

If you think it cos of an acute angles it is    adjacent side / hypotenuse

the hypotenuse is always the longest side so  this ratio must  be less than one.

 

When you extand the angle to include all angles then      $$-1\le cos(angle)\le 1$$

acos only works for numbers between -1 and 1 because of the unit circle has a radius of 1.
