I'm assuming that you're wanting to know the difference between log [2(9/14)] and log₂ (9/14)

The first uses 10 as the base and can be written as log(18/14) = about . 109

The second uses 2 as the base and can be evaluated as log(9/14) / log (2) = about -.637
