In the board game “So Many Bills”, there are 1 dollar, 2 dollar, and 3 dollar bills.

 

There are 11 more 2 dollar bills than 1 dollar bills.  There are 10 fewer 3 dollar bills than 1 dollar bills.  If there are 100 bills in total, how many 1 dollar bills are there in the board game?

Let the number of $1    = x

 

Number of $2    =  11 + x

 

Number  of $3    =  x - 10

 

So

 

x +   (11 + x)  +  ( x -10)    = 100

 

Can you take it from  here   ????

I think the answer is....

Let the number of $1    = x

 

Number of $2    =  11 + x

 

Number  of $3    =  x - 10

 

So

 

x +   (11 + x)  +  ( x -10)    = 100
