What is the value of n if 4!+5=n!3!

 

[4 x 3 x 2 x 1] + 5 = n! x [3 x 2 x 1]

29 =n! x 6

n! =29 /6

n! =4.8333..........

n =3.82431 This is called the "Gamma function"

No it isn't, the Gamma Function relationship

Gamma (n+1) = n!

is valid only when n is a positive integer or zero.

I think that there is probably a typo in the question, the 5 should be 5! .
