The is called the Lantern Post because it lights the way to the "What is happening" thread

https://web2.0calc.com/questions/what-is-happening-wrap-4#r85

Chris, Alan or I have cursorily checked many recent posts but the forum has become much too large to do this properly so I am concentrating mainly on answering member questions on and checking member answers and giving members the points and ticks that they rightly deserve.   There is not always even time to do this. :(

This time the pages up till here have not been checked - I have been absent from the forum.

These pages are just a line drawn in the sand  surprise

Up to:  Questions     page 2765- with 25 per page

and      Answers       page 4611

There may be some that do not have answers - Usually it is just too busy to get through all of them.

Instructions on reposting:

(Remember: All answerers intend to give correct answers but no answer comes with guarantees!)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

I encourage everyone to read  "What is Happening"

It is how I communicate with the forum and sometimes it contains important information.

This recurring thread has been renamed.  In the past it was called "End of Day Wrap"  or just "The Wrap"

All the old wraps can be accessed.  They are in a Sticky Thread which are located in the bottom right hand corner of the forum.

Heh, thx Melody, although I don't plan on making a post now and planning on Monday cuz of lack of members on the weekend (the weekends used to be so much better and actually more members were active than on the weekdays)

well, the reason I don't say my birthday usually until after 2 days is cuz well, if I tell my birthday early and everyone forgets and later finds out, they come out with all these apology letters. If I don't tell anyone until AFTER, then nobody would've known and they got no one to blame on, not even themselves

oh, can I make one simple question? What ever happened to the Power Users position? (Back then you could easily tell if they had 1000+ points and had a star next to their name)

also, even though I joined on April 16, I'm doing my Member Day post a day early (April 16th is dedicated to you Melody, and it should stay that way, Queen)

Thanks guys   laugh

You are all very sweet and i really appreciate all your loyalty and support :)

That cake looks delicious!  That was a fabulous birthday cake!

We often have pavlova, they don't always look so good but they taste great :)

I asked one of my boys once what kind of cake did he want for his birthday. He say "Just one the same as usual."  I struggled with that one.  He meant a pavlova, a pavlova is not really a cake, it is more of a sweet :)

I was trying to find a really good pic of one but like I said they are not very photogenic.  They have a hard merangue shell then soft merangue then cream topped with fruit.  Strawberries and passionfruit are the most common (I don't like passionfruit so mine don't have that!).  Other common fruits used are banana, kiwifruit and peaches,   Yum :)

Here is one, but i am going to pass on the passionfruit :)
