First write out the terms of the 'zeros'

(x +1)(x+1)(x-6)     then multiply it all out

(x^2 + 2x + 1 )(x-6)

x^3 - 6x^2 + 2x^2-12x+x - 6     then gather 'like' terms ' and place them in descending order of exponents

x^3 - 4x^2 - 11x - 6
