Youhave the right idea unknown but the gradient is -3

Y=-3x + b

Now sub your known point in to find b :)

ok sorry if i get this wrong.

To be parallel, to lines must have the same slope. Slope in this equation is 3. Just fin an equation set up like

Y=3x+b

that contains -2,3

sorry if vauge, but i'm procrastinating my homework!
