write the equation of a line, given the slope and y-intercept:

1. slope=1, y intercept (0.1) =

2. slope= -3, y intercept (0,-2/5) =

3. slope = 3/4, y intercept (0,2) =

the slope intercept form of linear function is y=mx+b

so in number 1 ,slope =1,so m=1 ,y=x+b,Then plug in (0,1)(x=0,y=1),1=0*1+b,b=1,so the equation of number 1 is y=x+1

2.   y=-3x-2/5

3    y=3x/4+2

4    y=-1x/5+1
